I find it comforting in some odd, twisted way, when someone writes that House is not what it used to be. All the happy "BEST EPISODE EVER!" headlines make me feel, one again, that the emperor has no clothes. This morning, I woke up to find find this link in my inbox:

Wilson: Bay of Pigs was a daring triumph.

LOL! Once upon a time I wrote a paper on the fiasco of Bay of Pigs so that had strong meaning for me.  Not to mention that connecting the idiocy of the CIA’s intel and their intelligence at hiring this dr. themselves is a nice little underhanded slam.

The best way I can explain this is, it's kind of like being on a roller coaster, a fun, exhilarating ride but in retrospect, you realize that you ate too much cotton candy and--yuck. (This example is for illustration purposes only, since I can't ride roller coasters. LOL)
